Alice- our sympathies go out to you and your family.
I will always remember teaching at Senior with both of you in the late 90's. I have since retired from teaching, but will always remember both of your smiles and the love which radiated from both of you as a couple. Our high school students couldn't ask for better role models. Please take care, Alice, and know what a difference Rick made in his lifetime of teaching, as well as your own path in life you have taken as well.

A very good person who was my boss in the computer math lab at Senior High School. Dick and Alice were very kind and good teachers. It has been almost 20 years since I retired but will always remember Mr. Kay. My thoughts are with your family. Peggy Marty

Good Man. He was my Geometry teacher Sophomore year. I did not understand Geometry. As a typical teenager, I argued the fact that "someday I would use geometry." In his coaching way, Mr. Kay sat me down for a one-on-one. He committed to me if I just showed up for class and tried some homework problems, I'd pass. I remember thanking him at the end of the semester for helping me pass. To a 16-year old, I was surprised when he thanked me for showing up and trying. Testament of a true coach and a man who believed in his students.
